Error message appears when attempting to print a report

Problem: User receives an object error when attempting to print a report.

Applies To: FireFiles version 5.0.1, Standalone and Server Installations.

Go to My Computer C:\Program Files\Seagate Software\Report Designer Component\craxdrt.dll.

When you click on the craxdrt.dll folder you will be asked to open with... Choose the box that says select the program from a list. Then click OK. At the Open With screen click on the Browse... button

At the Look in: dropdown locate the C: drive/windows/system32/regsvr32, click on the regsvr32 file, at the next screen click OK.
The next screen will ask if you want to open this file, click Open.
You should get a message that say the RegSvr32 file has succeeded. You should be able to print the report/s


If you still can't print try the next procedure:

Go to My Computer C:\Program Files\Seagate Software\Viewers\ ActiveXViewer\crviewer.dll
When you click on the crviewer.dll folder you will be asked to open with... Choose the box that says select the program from a list. Then click OK. At the Open With screen click on the Browse... button

At the Look in: dropdown locate the C: drive/windows/system32/regsvr32, click on the regsvr32 file, at the next screen click OK.
The next screen will ask if you want to open this file, click Open.
You should get a message that say the RegSvr32 file has succeeded. You should be able to print the report/s
